Moka (Moussiou Katerina) was born in Athens-Greece, where she currently lives and works. She studied Painting and Engraving in Athens School of Fine Arts (2000-2005).
She has worked with children on art projects and set design, while she teaches art in public and private schools.
The human element appears frequently in her work, as a symbol of inner quest which becomes an instrument for social commentary.
Her artwork is communicated through exhibitions in galleries and Cultural centers while she often collaborates with independent art groups for the creation of intervention art (murals) in public spaces, as an attempt to reach a more diverse audience.
